High blood pressure is a serious problem and untreated can lead to stroke and heart disease. It affects a good percentage of the population. High cholesterol and poor nutrition are certainly factors as well as being overweight. Sometimes high blood pressure runs in families, so hypertension may be in your future. Most of us use refined salt these days and replacing it with natural sea salt will be beneficial. Natural sea salt has a grayish cast. If it is very white, it has been refined.
